Graduation/Birthday Surpise Party

After weeks of preparation and lots of phone calls, it all payed off!

Thanks to Allie for helping with all of the graphic work.

Oh, and Justin Bieber was there...

Sunday Dinner Rolls

I had a tradition of making rolls every Sunday while I was in high school.

I've only made them once in DC and was excited to have a Sunday at home in Utah to carry on an old tradition.

Maybe it was just because I hadn't had them in a while, but they were especially delicious!

SURPRISE

I had you going right? You thought I couldn't
go to Chelsea's graduation?
So did she.

Well... SURPRISE! I flew out Tuesday night and surprised Chelsea on Wednesday at her surprise birthday/graduation party.

Penelope and T-rex

All of my wildest Easter dreams came true...

Meet Penelope and T-rex

Dear Professor....

If a regular staple is not big enough to hold my paper together, than the assignment was probably too long.

Sincerely,
A tired (but finished) graduate student

Chelsea Robinson - BYU Graduate

In honor of my sisters upcoming graduation I decided to dedicate a post to her.
Because I already had to miss class this semester, I won't be able to go to her graduation.
I also missed her high school graduation when I was on my study abroad in London!
(You see now why it's crucial for me to dedicate a post to her, I've had to miss too many important things!)

She also turns 22 next week! In honor of her upcoming graduation and birthday, here is the classic- 22 things I love about Chelsea!

1- She is a smarty pants! She has always done extremely well in school and is graduating in Business.
2- She was in a male dominated major, and rocked it!
3- She has real style and is always up to date on the latest fashion
4- She studied around the world and in London and speaks with a British accent now. Not really, but she did love her time abroad.
5- She did humanitarian work in India and Thailand
6- She makes delicious muddy buddies
7- She was the president of her class, pretty much every year of jr. high and high school.
8- She loves saltine crackers and plain cheerios
9- She loves TV and can't focus on a single other thing when she's watching
10- She heats up her M&M's in the microwave
11- She has Bieber Fever
12- She "tweets"
13- She loves the Disney channel and all things teen.
14- She is full of random talents and has been good at everything she has ever tried. including acting. She was the star of the Secret Garden when she was little.
15- She is amazing at the violin!
16- Everyone loves her
17- She is supportive of everyone around her.
18- She is social and carries herself well.
19- She is funny.
20- She is thoughtful.
21- She is confident in herself and successful because of it.
22- She has a strong testimony of the gospel and strives to be an example to those around her.

She only has one more final to go- GO CHELSEA!

HAPPY GRADUATION!

Welcome to the alumnus status!

The Nationals

We went to the Nationals baseball game on Friday night. Even though it was freezing, it got me really excited for summer!

I mentioned that it was freezing, right? Can you tell?

(I know I often have the same blog posts as my friends in DC but my disclaimer is that different people read my blog)

What I learned this weekend...

Easter egg dying is a lot of fun.

Especially when you are surrounded by friends.

But you should never, in any circumstance put a hard boiled egg in the microwave.

I know I know, I should have known...
But I didn't, and now I do.

Life Lesson:
You can't put hard boiled eggs in the microwave. Regardless of it's decorating needs.

Sore Legs

Has the toilet seat always been
that
far down?

I never realized the kind of muscle power it takes to get up and down from the toilet.
Too bad I'm not a boy and can't just stand most of the time...

Really though, I've had sore legs before, but this has taken it to a whole new level.
I don't know what the deal is.

Is this really possible?

How has it been two years since I graduated from BYU?

How is it that my little sister is graduating from BYU next week?

How is it that I had my final presentation and turned in my final paper for one of my classes at G-Dub?

How is it that I only have one more paper to turn in and I will be done at G-Dub forever?

How is it possible that I am starting another school program in three weeks?

Let's hope this coming school year will pass as quickly as the last six!
Because they have flown by....

(G-Dub is what cool people call GWU)

My explanation for lack of posts, are the above stated major papers and presentations.
Soon to be complete!

Positive Thoughts

I live in a big city. (well, technically, I live in a city next to a big city)

I'm about to move to an even bigger city.

Everyone in my current city has a lot of opinions about the new even bigger city.

Seeing as they chose to live in my current city, most of their opinions aren't very positive.

Okay, I'll be more realistic. 1 in every 100 are positive.

I'm feeling anxious.

Any positive thoughts about my new big city would be great!

Have you heard anything about Central Park benches? It looks like my options are to live there or to donate some of my major organs.

April Fools (in March)

We had a little April Fools joke in March.

This is the program for my Grandpa's funeral.

Now look closely before you go on to the next picture...

Did you see it?

Glad we could laugh a little during a week filled with a lot of other emotions.
My Aunt had them print 5 of these to give to her brothers.
They joke that had the Cougars won Thursday night,
they might have kept Jimmer in the real program.

Happy April Fools Day!

Props to whoever listed this on Craigslist.
You got her good.
(Please don't call the number listed, my sister is actually NOT selling a white truck
On the other hand, you may as well give her a ring....)
