Wes and Whit

Remember two months ago when I was going to post about Wes, Whitney, and my parents visiting? Well.. here it finally is, and following it will be many more posts. It's been a busy couple of months!

It was nice to do a lot of tourist things for the weekend. Here are Whitney and I in front of the White House.
Me, Wes, and Whit in front of Ford's Theater.
Celebrating my Dads birthday with a breakfast celebration at my apartment.
Celebrating my Dad's birthday at Hard Rock!
Me and My Mom and Dad at Mt. Vernon.
Me and Whitney in the side yard of Mt. Vernon.
Me, Whitney, and Wes at Mt. Vernon.

Our weekend also included: Arlington Cemetery, movies, Clydes (restaurant in Georgetown), Georgetown Cupcake, National Archives, Smithsonian Museums, The Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, monuments, and lots more. I was so happy to have my family in town. I was counting down the days for them to visit. It was very busy, but we had lots of fun together! I appreciated the visit, Wes and Whitney even suffered through sleeping on my pull out couch. I think they were ready to get home to their kids and their bed.

For any potential visitors... don't be misled, the bed isn't awful, and the company is amazing.
