Room for three?

Apparently we wore these boys out on our walk in central park!
They were all sleeping within a couple minutes.

For those of you lucky enough to read Natalie's blog,
this is a nice addendum to her post- boys too big for their beds...

Birthday Surprise

My parents worked with Chelsea to surprise me for my birthday. I got some flowers and a card on my actual birthday telling me to get ready for a weekend of fun. I was shocked to hear that Chelsea, Allie, and Lizzie were all planning to come to the city for the weekend. We soaked up the time we got to spend in the 'heavenly beds' at the Westin! Thanks for helping me celebrate!

BROADWAY!

One of the best parts about living in the city is the Broadway!

I've always loved musicals and have enjoyed a few new shows this summer.

My new favorite:

HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING!
(I've already seen it twice)

When Lindsay came to visit we enjoyed Catch Me if You Can.

I have no time...

But I'm taking a blogging break anyway.

I physically cannot work on my paper any more. I am so tired of it. I am in a literacy institute for two weeks, and it is INTENSE. It's really interesting and I'm learning a lot, but it's rather exhausting.

I think google+ is awesome. Everyone who is discounting it is crazy. Google is always right.

I was just informed that Rebecca Black is releasing another music video on Monday.  Thanks to Rebecca, I have a clearer idea of when that might be: today is Wednesday, tomorrow is Thursday, the next day is Friday, then Saturday, then Sunday comes afterwards, then Monday.... Or something like that. My week is already looking up.

Chelsea came to visit me.

We went back to DC and spent the Fourth of July together along with a lot of friends. (college roommate reunion! finally!)

My brother Bradley is engaged! I am so excited for him. He found his perfect match, and I can't wait to get to know Lindsey better.

I came back to NYC for about 2 days and then went right back out to CT to spend the weekend celebrating Kim's birthday.

Day crew: reunited.

River turned 5. Mya turned 6. Kim and Katie turned 24. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I completely randomly ran into one of my old friends from DC at the market here in NYC. He's moving to Brazil and happened to be in the city for a couple days of training. What are the odds that we were in the market for the exact same five minutes. Someone said my name and I thought I was crazy, because I currently know about 5 people in the city. (Alright, alright: I know more. But excluding my new friends at school it really might be in that ball park).

I got to meet my 'roommate' Sarah's mom for a quick lunch. She was up doing the interior decorating of a fancy apartment in the city. I got to see the progress of the apartment and chat with her, which is always fun. She is great company.

I am back in the swing of things, and just trying to get a grip of it all.

My roommate is gone to a family reunion and is subletting her room for the week. My mystery roommate is arriving tonight.

I have a lot of great pictures I will post soon.

Back to the grind.

The Car Accident

Chelsea and I drove my car from CT to DC so she could use it while she was doing her internship.

We left at about 10:00 AM.

Around 10:15 AM a car rear-ended us.

BOO. We were making such good timing!

About 12:00 a cop finally arrived to write up the report.

Luckily the car was still drivable and no one was hurt.

Our 4 1/2 hour drive ended up being A LOT longer!

It was my first accident, so I figured it was worth reporting. Glad it wasn't my fault!
